Job Description
The Psychologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues. The successful candidate will provide individual, group, and family therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, including diagnostic interviews and psychological tests, to evaluate emotional and mental health status.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients to address psychological and behavioral issues.
- Provide immediate support to clients experiencing acute psychological distress or crises, including those at risk of harm to themselves or others.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, mental health nurses, and social workers, to provide integrated care.
- Provide ongoing care and evaluation for patients with long-term mental health difficulties.
- Offer psychotherapy to patients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges.
- Provide mental health education and support to patients, families, and the community on psychological wellness and mental health prevention.
- Assist the HR department in implementing employee wellness programs.
- Contribute to the development of mental health policies and protocols to ensure high-quality psychological services.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient interactions, diagnoses, progress, and treatment plans.
Skill & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized institution.
- A valid license to practice as a psychologist from a recognized regulatory body.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a psychologist.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and confidentiality.
